Funding supports technical assistance for planning and implementing ZEV infrastructure projects, such as electric vehicle charging and hydrogen fueling stations.

Destination Downtown Pilot Storefront Improvement Grant
The City of Vacaville offers the "Destination Downtown" Pilot Storefront Improvement Grant Program to enhance businesses and commercial properties within the Downtown Specific Plan area. Available until funds are expended in the 2025 fiscal year, the program supports a range of improvements, including window displays, exterior lighting, sidewalk enhancements, and façade upgrades such as windows, doors, paint, stucco, and awnings. It also covers signage updates, including removing old signs and installing new ones, as well as outdoor dining and patio upgrades, including heating and cooling in compliance with City codes. These enhancements aim to improve Downtown’s appearance, foster community pride, and strengthen the economic vitality and marketability of properties and businesses in the area.

California Paid Family Leave Grant
Small businesses in California with 1-100 employees with at least one (1) employee utilizing California’s Paid Family Leave program (on or after June 1, 2024) are eligible to apply for grants up to $2,000 per employee on PFL to offset the increased costs associated with the employee out on leave.

Warrior Rising Grant
Warrior Rising strives to accept and assist veterans at any point in starting their own business, whether it is only a concept or if they have actual operations. They offer up to $20k in funding and other training support.

Sales Tax Exclusion (STE) Program
CAEATFA supports California's mission to provide financial incentives to cutting-edge companies by offering a sales and use tax exclusion to manufacturers purchasing equipment to promote alternative energy, advanced transportation and recycling, as well as advanced manufacturing. These manufacturers create tens of thousands of high-paying, permanent jobs that bolster the state's economy.

Wish Local Empowerment Program
Wish is dedicating $2M to give roughly 4,000 Black-owned stores $500-$2,000 to help promote equality and diversity in American business.

Civil Money Penalty Reinvestment Grant
This grant supports programs to improve the quality of life for residents in skilled nursing facilities. Projects may include training, culture change, and direct improvements to the quality of life, direct improvements to quality of care, and other applicable goals.
Examples of projects include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing methods to increase Person-Centered Care, Infection Control Training, implementing technology to prevent resident falls, and more.

Civil Money Penalty Communicative Technology Grant
This grant allows Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and associations on behalf of facilities to apply for funding for tablets and tablet-related accessories. The tablets will be used for virtual telehealth and family visits for SNF residents. Applicants may generally request up to $3,000.00 per facility, however requests beyond $3,000.00 per facility will be accepted and will require CDPH and CMS review.

Her Culture Micro Grant
About Her Culture's micro-grant aims to empower African and Caribbean women around the world for social and economic development. For the rest of 2024, they are giving away a few $500 micro-grants to women of African and Caribbean descent, based anywhere in the world, who are entrepreneurs, nonprofit founders, and creatives.

Amber Grant
Established in 1998, WomensNet's Amber Grant honors Amber Wigdahl's entrepreneurial spirit, awarding a minimum of $30,000 monthly. They've broadened their support to encompass Startup Grants, Business Category Grants, and two $25,000 Year End Grants, recognizing diverse women-owned businesses. Applying is simple: provide a brief overview of yourself and your business goals, and one application qualifies you for all relevant grants, with recipients announced by the 23rd of the following month.

The Amplifier Grant
The Amplifier Grant was set up with one goal in mind: to get funds in the hands of people trying to make the world a better place. The Amplifier Grant is accepting applications on a rolling basis with at least $5,000 in funds awarded on a seasonal basis (ie. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).
